S18 E9: The One Where An Orthodox Jew Marries a Reform Convert

  • 14 hours ago
  • 1 min read

I met Anne Nadel at Westminster Synagogue at the AREIAC face to face. She told me she was a reform convert married to an Orthodox husband. Listen as a chat to Anne and her husband, Simon, about how they met and how they have navigated family life. We discuss the differences between Orthodox and reform, how you convert to Judaism and why converts are highly respected in Judaism. But also we see there is more than unites them than they disagree on and this is a beautiful lesson from this marriage built on equality and respect!

How to support The RE Podcast

I want to continue to create the RE Podcast as a FREE resource for teachers. However, there are runnings costs. I have to pay a monthly fee to Buzzsprout to host the podcast, I have to pay a fee for the website and the email address, I have to pay a fee to riverside fm to let me record interviews, plus the recording equipment has been a huge investment and needs updating..

There are THREE ways to support;

1) A one off gift at my Buy Me A Coffee page

2) Become and Patreon and give monthly where you will get extra content for FREE.

3) If you can't support financially, please leave a review on apple podcasts
