S8 E9 The One About Cancer

Updated: Mar 18, 2023

This is a tough topic, but in a country where someone is diagnosed with cancer every 2 minutes, leading to 1000 new diagnosis a day, it feels like one I didn't want to shy away from. My very good friend, Catherine Woodcock talks wisely and openly and honestly about her diagnosis and how her Christian faith has impacted this. Catherine is the panda in the photo and this photo reminds is all to hold on to the good times, be in the moment, treasure joy!

We discuss how her faith has been of comfort to her, and particular Bible verses that have been significant, her understanding of the problem of evil, life after death, euthanasia and miracles.

It's a truly beautiful and heartwarming chat with someone who has added so much to my life in the 3 years I have known her!

How to support The RE Podcast

I want to continue to create the RE Podcast as a FREE resource for teachers. However, there are runnings costs. I have to pay a monthly fee to Buzzsprout to host the podcast, I have to pay a fee for the website and the email address, I have to pay a fee to riverside fm to let me record interviews, plus the recording equipment has been a huge investment and needs updating..

There are THREE ways to support;

1) A one off gift at my Buy Me A Coffee page

2) Become and Patreon and give monthly where you will get extra content for FREE.

3) If you can't support financially, please leave a review on apple podcasts
