To start 2024 I am doing a little mini series on the Sermon On The Mount. This was the first
piece of teaching of Jesus recorded in the gospels. Jesus has been baptised, he's fasted and prayed and been tempted and now he begins his ministry.
In the last episode I explored the Beatitudes. In this episode I delve into the section on prayer, including the Lords Prayer. What does Jesus teach about HOW TO pray and what does this mean for Christians today.
The Lord's prayer is also an example of liturgical worship and can be used as a source of authority at GCSE. It includes sections on God, poverty, forgiveness and temptation.
In the next episode I will look at the rest of the Sermon!
